It was all hip-hop excellence - and more than a little California love - when Dr. Dre led an all-star halftime show at Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022.
At the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA - where the Los Angeles Rams edged out a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals - Dre and some of his greatest associates and contemporaries came together for a hits-packed 15-minute set. Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem had already been confirmed for the bill, but guest appearances by 50 Cent (recalling his iconic "In Da Club" video, complete with rapping while upside-down) and Anderson .Paak (blissfully delivering drum fills behind Em's rendition of "Lose Yourself") took it even further into the stratosphere.
