Sean "Diddy" Combs wants you to feel the love.
The hip-hop producer/mogul took to social media last week to announce a new album, Off the Grid Vol. 1, to be released Sept. 24. "WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA!" he wrote in the caption, alluding to a 2017 declaration that he'd change his name to "Love" or "Brother Love." (He's previously been known as Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy and just Diddy.)
The Bad Boy founder's last proper solo album was 2006's Press Play, though he's remained active in the years since. In 2015, he issued a mixtape, MMM (Money Making Mitch). Prior to that, he issued collaborative albums like Diddy-Dirty Money's Last Train to Paris (recently the subject of Pitchfork's Sunday Review) and 11:11 with electronic artist Guy Garber.
Additional details for Off the Grid Vol. 1 have yet to be announced.
